Join us for dinner and an evening with CNU's Prof. Vered Sakal for a discussion of "In the Beginning." An ordained rabbi who holds a Ph.D. in Jewish Thought from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Prof. Vered Sakal focuses much of her work and teachings at Christopher Newport University on the intersection of Judaism and policies and how the two interface. She views modern challenges through the lens of Judaism, and studies how to interpret them from a historical and religious standpoint.
