We are heartbroken and incensed by the surprise attacks by Hamas on Israel. As the war unfolds, at least 1,500 Israelis have been killed, thousands wounded and more than 150 taken captive - many civilians.

We are monitoring the situation and will respond and provide updates as often as possible.

In moments like these, the UJCVP has the responsibility to join with other Jewish Federations to mobilize our community to help the people of Israel. As Israelis stand strong against the deluge of terror and violence, we will support them however we can.
